Brian Flynn, EA – Managing Partner
Brian began working for his dad Mike in 1995 and after graduating from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs bought the business in 2002.
Brian enjoys the relationships that have been developed with clients and gains a huge amount of satisfaction being able to help consult and plan with business owners and individuals to reach their dreams and goals.
Esther Daniels, EA MBA – Partner
Esther joined us in May of 2005 to assist in bookkeeping services. She has since graduated from the University of Colorado and is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. She became a partner in the firm 2013 and heads up all the accounting and tax functions of the firm.
Rick Cihak – Partner
Rick became a partner in the firm in 2016. He previously worked for 29 years as VP/CFO of a local General Contractor. Rick is a QuickBooks Certified trainer and can help with all aspects of your business planning and consulting needs.
Kari Brown – Payroll Specialist
Kari joined our team in November 2004 and she manages the payroll department. She epitomizes what customer service is all about.
Mary Jo Steinke – Tax Specialist
Mary Jo joined us in 2008. She has a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and specializes in individual tax preparation.
Karen Porwoll – Bookkeeper
Karen joined our team in October 2013 and she manages the bookkeeping department.
Kyle Kennedy – Accountant
Kyle began at Flynn Accounting in 2014. Recently graduating from the University of Colorado and now working on his MBA. He is involved in the accounting and tax needs of our clients.
Bekah Moore – Administrative Assistant
Bekah began in 2001 and left in 2005 to become a wife and mom. She recently rejoined Flynn as a part time assistant.
After working in the corporate world for 20+ years, Mike Flynn began Flynn Accounting in 1989 with the simple dream of helping business owners become successful. He achieved that dream and in turn created his own successful business which was bought by Brian Flynn in 2002. Unfortunately, Mike passed away in 2005 and wasn’t able to see the firm he created grow and thrive. But his values and his commitment to customer service live on through each partner and employee of Flynn Accounting.
